Santa brings cheer to young members at FireFit

Last night, FireFit Youth and Community Hub transformed into a mini Winter Wonderland, creating that festive feeling for our young members.

The team worked their magic to make a cozy grotto and children cheered as they welcomed the man himself, Santa, who was accompanied by his trusty Christmas Tree assistant, they’re the new Elves for 2023!

As we look back on a busy year here at the Hub, the team was overjoyed to how excited the children were, a testament to the hard work and dedication invested throughout the year.

Adding an extra touch of Christmas magic, was Liverpool business Agent, who surprised us with a collection of high quality books as part of their ‘All you read is love’ project. We were able to hand them out to both our younger and older teenage members so they could be enjoyed by all.

Colin Scicluna, Head of Youth, Torus Foundation (who also enjoyed the party!) comments:

"It was great to see the younger members really get into the party spirit. It was powerful reminder of the impact we aim to deliver at FireFit.

FireFit is one of Torus Foundation’s key services benefitting Torus communities, and we take pride in the work that goes into providing young members with nightly activities and engaging sessions, in a safe space that hopefully helps to build skills, connections and confidence"

As we say goodbye to 2023, FireFit is looking forward to welcome young members and the wider community to a range of sessions and projects in the new year.

In the meantime, check out the timetable for FireFit’s opening times over the festive period.
